Property Description
Four beautiful rustic cottages forming an integral part of an incredible chateau once belonging to the Templars, dating from the twelfth century. Today the chateau is a vast and productive vineyard growing some of the best local Côtes du Rhone wines. The views from the property over the vineyards are spectacular. It is only 6 kilometers to Bagnols-sur-Cèzes, where there is lots of shopping and several good restaurants.
The cottages are open plan living areas containing a sofa, large dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace for which wood is supplied. Each cottage opens onto a terrace where there is outdoor furniture. The Petite and Grande Maisons are built into the exterior wall of the chateau itself, whereas the Bergerie is about 50 meters down the lane.
All have two bedrooms, one with a double and the other with two singles, except the Petite Maison which has two small double bedrooms and suits one couple or a family with one or two small children because the two bedrooms are adjacent with simply an archway dividing them.
