For the purposes of this website we have divided the country into 12 regions; Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, Cote D'Azur, Paris & Ile de France, Aquitaine/ Dordogne, Loire Valley, Brittany/Normandy, Burgundy, Midi-Pyrenees, Chamonix, Barges, Cooking School.
France has a wide variety of regional diversities and sights to please
every visitor, from high mountains to lush farmlands, from traditional
villages where life moves slowly to the chic boulevards of the large
cities; France has it all.
France has a predominantly temperate climate, with mild winters, except
